To help you get started we have integrated a help function that can be activtated or de-activated by clicking the ? button in the ‘me’ box on the right.

Through this help function, we will explain the different functionalities accessible through the dock above. To make optimal use of this function, turn it on from time to time to support you when certain functions may seem unclear. The ? button is available on every page.

The dock in the top right corner can be used to navigate to the different functions on lava people, give it a try!

This is your personal homepage. The base from where you can navigate to the different functions on Lava People, you can use:

> The 'me' box on the right hand side of the screen

> The different preview boxes such as 'my mail', 'my dialogue', 'my events', and 'my news'.

'my flow’ & ‘my clipboard’

'my flow' is made up of 'live feeds' and 'my match'. The 'live feeds' show real-time updates of people active on the platform. This should be a genuine driver to pursue new opportunities and lower the barrier to contact new people that are relevant for your business.

'my match' shows profiles of people that match the criteria you have entered as a passive search in your profile. For example, a match for you could be a business partner that is based in California who is active with start-ups.

Throughout the portal it is also possible to add different items to your clipboard for later review, these items appear under ‘my clipboard’ at the bottom of your homepage.

‘me’, ‘quick search’ & ‘my ventures’

The ‘me’ box on the right hand side is consistent throughout the entire portal, it provides easy access to your profile, network, and help function.

The ‘quick search’ speaks for itself, it allows the users to quickly search in different areas of the portal such as people, discussions or FAQ’s.

‘my ventures’ provides a quick link to your projects in our collaboration suite.
